The Aesophic is an amphibious luxury vehicle named after the ancient Greek poet Aesop, teller of the fable of the tortoise and the hare. The design of the Aesophic was inspired by the tortoise, from the pattern in the glass roof to the lower and upper shell of the body.
The Aesophic is based on the chassis of the electric Tesla Model S, with Michelin Tweels as the wheels. The chassis offers great spatial freedom, and the Tweels with the built-in suspension also give a lot of freedom for the packaging.
The SolidWorks model features a fully operative retractable roof.
When the wings are opened, the luxurious wooden deck is revealed.
In the water the vehicle is powered by a Weber jet engine.
